As our business continues to grow, we are seeking individuals with SAP Master Data Administration experience to perform a variety of tasks that will ensure adherence to all SOX and Global Data Governance policies and procedures and will support the Data Governance team in aligning all master data objects, globally. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Participate in formal project teams and activities concerning Master Data.
- Recommend data requirement standards and process improvements to ensure data integrity.
- Create data quality measurement criteria.
- Have a working knowledge of master data from the business and technical perspectives.
- Ensure consistency, uniformity and accuracy of data globally, across all systems.
- Create and publish monthly summaries.
- Develop, utilize tracking / reporting methodology for requests.
- Run designated reports weekly/bi-weekly/monthly for data accuracy, metrics, KPI reporting, etc.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures, training and job aides to support policies and procedures related to data maintenance.
- Implement / utilize a repeatable process to manage data issues within SAP MDM.
- Implement / utilize all global standards and policies with SAP MDM team.
- Monitor reports for responsible master data objects to identify all security violations and insure adherence to all SOX and Data Governance requirements.
- Oversee data maintenance within the work stream, ensuring master data integrity.
- Coordinate the flow of information between all departments for responsible master data elements.
- Assist with all Master Data Administrative tasks as needed.
- Creation, maintenance, and active / inactive status of all responsible master data elements.
- Perform regularly scheduled Role Security reviews in accordance with SOX requirements.
- Provide master data metrics and compliance related analysis to key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Data Governance team, coordinating and documenting policies and procedures for global SAP MDM.
- Promote and adhere to Newmont’s methodologies, policies, procedures and standards.
- Maintain a consistent high quality of work across all responsibilities.
- Promote and adhere to Newmont Regional Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures.
