An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Fixed Plant Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will play an integral role within our maintenance department at our Didipio operation in the Philippines.

Responsibilities of the role include;

• Overseeing mechanical maintenance activities on site
• Developing and ensuring safe work practices are followed whilst being proactive in maintaining company safety policies and procedures
• Developing maintenance strategies and schedules to achieve high plant availability and reliability
• Liaise with the operations department to ensure maintenance activities are carried out effectively and in a coordinated manner
• Ensure that spare parts and consumables levels are sufficient to meet the process plant needs
• Participate in developing annual maintenance department budgets and provide monthly reports on maintenance activities to the maintenance manager

The successful candidate will;

• Have extensive experience in a similar role in a process plant environment with exposure to crushing, milling, floatation and concentrate drying systems
• Possess effective communication skills as well as strong leadership qualities
• Be able to plan and forecast maintenance activities in advance in a remote location
