We are currently looking for an HR Advisor.
The HR Advisor is responsible for advising and supporting managers within the scope of the project, as well as working on HR projects on a wider scale within AOPL. Reporting to the Project Manager on a daily basis and working in alignment with wider HR Team covering Attract, Select, Develop, Perform, Reward and Reassign. Advising managers & supervisors on HR issues and employment law matters as well as supporting in major/minor projects to help achieve best practice and delivery to the project and client. Identifying any issues and implementing HR plans along with the wider HR team. Be the focal point on the project for all HR issues. Being involved in all HR activities, covering Attract, Select, Develop, Perform, Reward and Reassign. Regular visits to site locations both onshore and offshore. Support managers in the recruitment process for the project, assisting in the decision making and aligning to the Global Recruitment Guide. Understanding the offshore plan in respect of shutdowns and campaigns throughout the year. Working closely with the operations recruitment team to ensure delivery of plan. Supports managers in understanding employee relations policies and practices, ensuring understanding of compliance imperatives. Provides advice and instruction to managers who are leading the resolution of employee relations issues. Networks with colleagues internally and communities of practice externally to understand current trends and anticipate changes. Take the lead on the project for investigating and resolving ER issues, such as grievances and disciplinaries. Regular site / offshore trips to engage employees and feedback key messages. Advises and coaches managers in aspect of employee health and well-being, ensuring internal policies and legislative requirements are followed, in the case of return to work or long term issues. Monitors and evaluates data and information to ensure ongoing service quality. Seeks and acts on feedback from customers. Work to Aker Solutions processes and follow administrative processes for payroll purposes including starters and leavers, upgrades, downgrades etc, ensuring adequate paper trails in place. Seeks and listens to the feedback from employee to identify and address continuous improvement. Responsible for introductions to the company and ensuring that feedback is given on process for continuous improvement. Ensure that the values and behavioural expectations permeate through the organisation’s processes, policies, intranet etc. Understand and be able to interpret the OCA agreement – understanding the offshore terms and Business degree or CIPD qualification preferred Up to date knowledge on Employment Law Understanding of OCA terms and conditions Organisational and administrative skills Planning ahead, being proactive Experience of OCA negotiations and understanding the current agreement Appropriate operational project experience Must be Eligible to Work Within the UK
