Ten of Barrick’s mining operations are found within the Australia Pacific region, with its regional head office located in Perth, Western Australia. Darlot Gold Mine is located approximately 650 km north-east of Perth, currently producing approximately 115,000 ounces each year from our underground operations. The processing plant features 3 stage crushing, primary and secondary grinding circuits, a single leach tank, CIP circuit, IPS elution circuit and paste fill.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Process Shift Supervisor, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a gold Processing plant. We are seeking a responsible and self-motivated team player that is committed to a high level of safety and environmental practices. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Maintenance & general housekeeping of the processing plant, paste plant &  equipment.
• Proactive approach towards safe work practices
• Complying with both Barrick policies, standards and procedures, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements  Participate in site safety management programs and initiatives)

Experience & Requirements:

• Current WA "C" Class Drivers License (essential)
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Forklift ticket (desirable)
