Due to continual success and consistent development of the Anglo American business we are currently seeking CHPP Mechanical Operators to join our team.
To be successful, candidates will need to possess the following;
This role has a strong focus on safety; daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
Monitor and control all CHPP and TLO operations including raw coal operations, CHPP operations, tailings disposal operations
Perform operational and maintenance inspections
Perform plant operational maintenance
Record and report shift production, downtime, downtime allocation and defects
Operate Front End Loader to feed the CHPP, load the rejects into rear dump trucks and load product coal into side tipper trailers as required
Assist CHPP Technician – Electrical as required
Operate TLO dozers to maintain stockpile levels and reclaim coal to load trains
