GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include: Successful candidate will maintain all tires on mine equipment; maintaining correct air pressures and tread depths; responsible for inspecting and removing worn or failed tires and installing replacement tires; repairing any and all repairable tires; keep tire shop and surrounding area clean and neat; other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Prior experience with tire maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.
• Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision required.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.
