A leader in their field, this global provider of outsourced data centre solutions to businesses are now seeking an experienced Facilities Services/Contracts Manager to oversee and manage a large data centre based in Sydney.
 
You’ll ideally have a proven track record in managing mission-critical data centres or similar and will be able to work autonomously. The role will entail managing all the critical (BMS, HVAC, refrigeration, diesel generators, UPS systems, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, etc) and non-critical (cleaning, catering and landscaping etc) environmental services and facilities contracts.
 
Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for all stakeholder relationships, maintenance, scheduling, procurement, OH&S, KPI’s, SLA’s, reporting, budgeting, documentation/administration, quality assurance and cross group communication.
 
In return for a competitive package you will ideally possess a tertiary technical qualification / trade qualification and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll also be required to have savvy negotiating skills, be proficient in the use of the Microsoft packages and have superior attention to detail which ensures contract details are in good order.
 
This role is Monday to Friday but also provides emergency relief coverage for the shift managers.
