GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Successful candidate will perform all necessary tasks to plan and schedule maintenance work, maintain an accurate backlog and interact/communicate with supervisors and other planners in achieving set goals.  Generate equipment lists, maintenance work scopes, requests for quotation, bid analyses, initiate contracts and / or purchase requisitions, and assist in major down activities. Act as the primary power management coordinator. Develop monthly power forecasts using data provided by operations and maintenance departments and other sites. Act as the liaison with all load representatives, the Western 102 Power Plant and Barrick’s Scheduling Coordinator. Perform training on energy issues as required by Open Access mandates. Generate energy related reports.

Communicate/coordinate with all levels of maintenance, operations, purchasing, and warehouse staff.  Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include:

·    Minimum 5 years underground electrical maintenance experience preferred 

·    Oracle eAM (CMMS) experience preferred

·    Maintenance planning experience preferred

·    Proven safety, environmental and equipment care and custody leadership required

·    Knowledge of MS Office Suite required.  Familiarity with maintenance systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Pronto, Discovery, DMSI, etc preferred

·    Ability to interact with a wide variety of departments/roles, delivering clear and concise instructions required

·    Excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills required
