Aker Subsea Ltd is required to maintain and further develop its management system in accordance with ISO 9001. It is also required to meet the company’s stated policy of continuous improvement in this area. These may be termed as the “corporate” responsibilities.
The main purpose of the Business Process Group is to support the organisation in the development, maintenance and execution of a robust set of processes that will allow the business to continually improve.
In addition the Business Process group will provide the Quality Management function to support the company’s Project execution activity by way of contract-specific Quality Planning and interfacing with Customer, Certifying Authority and third party Quality representatives.
This particular Job Function provide the administrative support for the Business Process department
Responsibilities and tasks
General administrative duties in support of Business Process and Quality activities
Administration of internal tools such as Operating System (OS), Synergi, SharePoint and Promark
Preparation of reports and presentations showing performance of Business Process department
Expediting managers & departments on late or due plans, processes and procedures
Updating work documents in SAP, PEM and the Operating System
Organising and planning of departmental meetings, discussions and team development
Record and distribute minutes of scheduled Technical meetings
Manage department holidays and flexi time
Arranging catering and any other equipment/resources for meetings as required
Logging and following up calls with IT/Facilities Management on behalf of department
Monitor, collate & process department KPI’s
Placing stationery/PPE orders
Administration of timesheets for department
Arranging any training, refreshers, in-house courses, workshops etc
These responsibilities may from time-to-time require travel to other Aker Subsea Limited UK and overseas sites and supplier sites.
Qualifications & personal attributes
NVQ Level 3 or ONC standard in related subject
Experience within the Oil & Gas Industry
Experience within a Quality Management department
