Summary:
Supports the Project Manager/Project Engineer in the areas of planning and scheduling. Facilitates corporate manpower planning, providing project resource analyses and creates reports to communicate the progression of various projects.
Essential Duties:

Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, production departments and field service personnel and provides analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues to ensure the meeting of project objectives and contractual commitments.
Analyzes contractual commitments, client specifications, design changes and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of project.
Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities.
Collects/reports progress, identifies/assists in analysis of project schedule variances, assists in developing corrective actions, and coordinates resolution of variances.
Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing to address problems arising from location of operational area and other factors, such as environmental and human factors affecting personnel.
Assist in the development and maintenance of WBS and helps ensure the coding is effectively used on the project.
Conducts planning and coordination meetings as required to support planning and monitoring functions.
Performs special research or technical studies critical to logistic support functions.
Utilizes computer techniques for research, analysis, simulation, and documentation.
Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.
Produces reports as required to support project needs, ensuring schedule-coding structure supports management/client reporting requirements

Education/Experience:
Bachelorâs degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; and a minimum of 5 years planning and scheduling experience on engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
A working knowledge of Primavera version 6.0, or later, is required. Planning and scheduling experience within the Oil & Gas industry preferred
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
Round trip airfare will be provided with this assignment for out of town candidates. A flight at the start of the assignment, and a flight home at the completion/conclusion of the assignment.
For expenses incurred while working away from your home of record, pay will be split, with the first 195.00/day 9/16 to 4/30 and 285.00/day 5/1 to 9/15 will be paid as per diem in accordance with published government per diem rates and will be paid based on 7 days. Please note, this is not in addition to your base rate.
