This major contractor specialises in engineering, construction and asset management.  With a wealth of experience in Australia, they are known for their innovative and sustainable solutions.
 
Providing services encompassing design, construction, installation, operations and maintenance, the major projects division has an immediate requirement for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join them.
 
Having previously worked in a contracting environment, you’ll enjoy a varied role utilising your electrical, instrumentation and controls design and project management skills.  It is essential you have previous experience on Power projects which will include design and construction of fossil, chemical and renewable power plants, bulk fuel storage terminals and upgrades to power stations.  Primarily based in the office, you will be required to spend time on site as needed so previous site experience during construction and commissioning phases is essential.  With an understanding of budget and project deliverables, you’ll have previous involvement in projects from start to finish.
 
Working in a close team environment, you’ll be highly motivated with the desire to further your career.  You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers in the team.
 
Educated to degree level with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), you’ll be professionally qualified and have a good knowledge of relevant Australian legislation.
