The role:

• Drill rig supervision, core & chip logging, geophysical interpretation
• Geotechnical logging and coal quality sampling of drill core
• Seam gas data acquisition, coal seam gas desorption and gas sampling
• Data acquisition, manipulation and management
• Ensuring the quality of data collected
• Supervising and training Junior Geologists and other contractors

Desired experience and attributes:

• Coal Geology experience of 18 months or more
• Experience with MS Office and industry recognised software packages
• Enthusiasm, a pro-active attitude and good communication
