As well as owning several iron ore and manganese commodities, controlling all aspects of mining production and exportation. Process Minerals International (PMI) a subsidiary of the MRL Group and specialises in bringing new mines into production, controlling all aspects of mining operations. One of the unique flairs of PMI is its rapidly growing “in house” Site Services division that provides a superior catering and accommodation services to its owner operated mining projects. 

Due to the ongoing growth of the business, PMI has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Site Services Coordinator to join the Site Services department at our head office in Applecross, WA. Reporting to the Site Services Manager, this role will have a direct focus on overseeing the respective Camp Managers on site to ensure that PMI achieve all operational outcomes of safety, quality, performance and cost.

Carina is a new iron ore mining operation and is also MRL's largest owner operated site with approximately 200 personnel. With this in mind, we are ideally seeking a hospitality professional with a proven ability to increase service performance levels through effective people management. This in an opportunity to have input, create changes and make improvements to the mining service industry from your experience within various hospitality disciplines. To be successful in this position it is envisaged that you will possess:

• Solid experience in the hospitality industry across all facets of cooking, cleaning and accommodation services (mine site exp not essential)
• Minimum 3 years in a management or a supervisory position
• Professional attitude with strong leadership qualities
• Competent in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong Safety knowledge
• Not afraid to lead by example
• Strong knowledge of HACCP

 This is a Perth based position but will require you to fly to site on occasions.
