Ausenco’s Minerals & Metals business offers services covering all facets of the project life cycle from scoping and feasibility studies, through to project delivery and brown field plant upgrades. Our commissioning services ensure a smooth handover to client operations. From the most effective design, through construction and to commissioning, our business and passion is exceptional project delivery of mineral processing plants.
Due to a number of new and exciting opportunities, we are seeking a Project Engineering Manager to be based on site and coordinate the design/engineering and field construction teams. There is also coordination required between Ausenco offices and subcontract design offices.
Leadership and development of capability within the engineering team is a key requirement of this role. As such an ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Ausenco systems and procedures and a willingness to impart this knowledge in a proactive and supportive manner is required.
In order to be successful in this role you will have:
A strong background in design and construction engineering
Specific experience in minerals processing plant construction projects
Proven ability to work at altitude
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary office
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment
Excellent organisational and coordination skills
English and Spanish language skills would be advantageous
