Forecasted workloads provide this civil team with the confidence to appoint an additional civil designer to their Brisbane team, in line with their strategic growth plan.

The position on offer here requires a qualified Civil Designer with at least 5 years design experience working in the land development sector. You will ideally have had significant exposure in the fields of earthworks, roads, drainage or sewerage with a proven ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision. You will be a proven team player, with well developed communication skills, and the ability to liaise with all internal and external members of project teams. You will be driven toward your career in engineering, and likely be studying toward your Bachelors degree.

Skills/Experience Required

• At least 5 years design experience in Land Development, with specialist experience in either of: Earthworks, Roads, Drainage or Sewerage, within Australia
• Expert knowledge of legislative standards set out by Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast City Council, Logan City Council and the ULDA
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Proven attention to detail
• Expert using 12D any previous PC Drain or PC Sewer highly advantageous
