Description:
LNG Mechanical Engineer is responsible for conceptual design, specification, procurement support, startup and commissioning of cryogenic gas processing facilities, liquefaction, and LNG import / regasification facilities, both onshore and offshore.
This person will select and optimize the mechanical equipment for LNG projects and proposals, produce or assist in conceptual/feasibility studies, and support process engineering and project execution.
Requirements:
15+ years of project-related experience with an E&C firm in LNG or cryogenic air separation industry.
Experience with rotating and stationary equipment used in cryogenic processes including:
- gas turbines and motor drives
- centrifugal compressors
- cryogenic expanders
- brazed aluminum heat exchangers
- vacuum jacketed piping and vessels
- vaporization
- storage and piping
Experienced with development of P&IDs
Strong organizational, verbal, and writing skills
Leadership skills with 5+ years in a lead role
B.S. in Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis
