- Ability to safely operate and perform oil changes on pick-ups, vans, heavy equipment and haul trucks
- Operation of all mine fuel docks and satellite fuel stations
- Operation of lubrication service trucks for fueling and lubricating mobile equipment
- Ability to use high pressure hoses to clean the under carriage and bodies of small equipment
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Understand and follow environmental policies and procedures related to the Lube Shop's core work
- Maintain accurate service records utilizing computer and organizational skills
- Effectively perform job assignments with minimal supervision and/or assistance
- Ability to safely climb ladders for the purpose of checking components and servicing heavy equipment
- Work a 12-hour shift schedule in varying weather conditions
- Work overtime and perform other duties and responsibilities as business needs dictate
- Must have six (6) months of maintenance/mechanical experience
- Task trained in forklift operation
- Must be able to lift and manipulate objects up to sixty (60) pounds
- Proficient in the use of MIMS and Quadrem
- Familiarity of pneumatic and basic hand tools
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have exemplary work and safety record; no active discipline

- High School Diploma or GED

- Work is in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see
- Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to fifty (50) pounds during the course of the workday
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, or manufacturing plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
