As an ASX listed, International organisation focussed on agricultural and mineral resources, our client is a leader in their operational markets. In recent years they have experienced a rapid expansion and continue to exceed expectations year on year.

Their Townsville office is urgently seeking an Experienced Engineering Superintendent for their Open Cut operation. FIFO ideally from Townsville however would consider alternatives on 4:3 or 8:6 Roster.

Within this role you will take responsibility for:

• Managing a team of professionals to provide ongoing sustaining capital support for the Mine Site
• Managing multiple contractors across multiple disciplines to ensure organisation is receiving quality outcomes and services
• Ensuring compliance with applicable HSE Performance Standards, objectives and as well as acts, and regulations
• Directing and coordinating engineering resources to ensure customer demands are met
• Controlling the site capital expenditure and projects to achieve production and financial targets

To be eligible to apply for this role you will have:

• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team of professional personnel
• Minimum of 7 years experience in chemical, mining or heavy industry with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office suite, QMS1,2,3, Familiarity with Engineering Design Office systems and processes
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or civil)
• The ability to cut through complexity, see the connections between disparate issues, generate new insights and bring fresh thinking to business and leadership issues
