Tank Design Engineer - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Purpose

Will carry out the detailed Tank Design and Engineering drawings/drafting


Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

1. Mechanical Engineer (Tank Design) to work independently on tanks for Oil and Gas projects.
2. Conversant with International codes like ASME,API 650 and API 620 etc.
3. Preparation and checking of detailed drawings for Tanks
4. Detailed API 650 tank calculations
5. Detailed Tank Fabrication and Construction drawings
6. Detailed Tank drawings - Nozzle orientation plan, nozzle details, Bottom details, Shell details
7. Detailed BOQ / MTQ
8. Detailed Shell plate development  / lay-out
9. Pontoon details / assembly
   
    

Basic Qualifications

Key qualifications of this position includes:

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 years of Tank Design experience
• Preferably worked on Tank Design softwares such as ETback, etc.
• Previous design experience in tanks (Floating Roof and Fixed Roof) in engineering consultancy or EPC company
• Works independently within man-hour budgets

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
