Reporting to the Operations Manager the Mechanical Engineer will provide engineering support and expertise to the operations in Australia.  You will initially be focussing on the maintenance and day to day running of the Shredder, ensuring maximum utilisation, output and efficiency aimed at extracting maximum value from the process.  You will be heavily involved in Capital Expenditure Projects and oversee the purchase and implementation of new technology at the site.

The ideal candidate will have extensive relevant experience and hold tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Fitting or Welding.  You will have a truly hands on approach and have no issues about ‘picking up the tools’ if needed.  Experience of handling CAPEX purchasing, design and implementation will be essential and proficiency in Autocad will be highly desirable.
