We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Equipment Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance Department at the Cowal Gold Mine, where you will form part of a team of dedicated professionals. This is a permanent full-time position working continuous shift, 4 days on, 4 days off, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Position:

The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for ensuring that mining plant equipment servicing, breakdowns and preventative maintenance are performed as required on the Cowal site.

Experience & Requirements:

• Proven experience in Maintenance and repairs of heavy earthmoving machinery (CAT, Komatsu & Hitachi etc)
• Trade Certificate (Diesel).
• The right attitude towards safety.
• Honest work ethic.
• The ability to work safely sometimes exposed to the elements and with limited supervision. 
• A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem solving skills.

Candidates must hold a current motor vehicle licence and be able to pass a Pre Employment Medical and Drug Screen.
