SENIOR MINING ENGINEER
Agapito Associates, Inc. is seeking a senior-level Mining Engineer to be based in either their Golden or Grand Junction, CO office. Essential position functions include the performance of rock mechanic, subsidence and ventilation analyses for various mining and underground civil projects; mangement of data collection and model development for resource estimates, and management of rock testing activities.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in Mining, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, plus 5-10 years of experience serving the mining or underground civil construction industries. PE preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Additional qualifications are solid computer skills, including MS Office, AutoCAD, SurvCADD (Carlson Mining Software) or other surface mine modeling programs. Candidate must be willing to travel and work in field locations.
