Situated 700kms east of Darwin, Gove Operations Pacific Aluminium is located on the Gove Peninsula in North East Arnhem land in the Northern Territory. Employing over 1200 people, the operation consists of a mine, refinery, port and steam power station. An opportunity for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Tradesperson has become available at our Gove Steam Power Station.  You will be working on planned and breakdown maintenance for fixed plant equipment. Your role will be varied, challenging and ensure your professional development. Working within a small, tight-nit team, the successful candidate will hold dual trade qualifications and possess a solid knowledge of electrical instrumentation in a power generation, refining, mining or related industrial environment. Your strong communication skills, team orientation and commitment to continuous improvement and safety are imperative as is the ability to work unsupervised in a constructive and effective manner.
