This global multi-disciplinary consultancy is renowned for supplying innovative solutions across water, power, roads, rail, tunnels and maritime projects.  Their expertise spans the design, delivery and management of major private sector and government infrastructure projects.

Their Perth office is currently experiencing significant expansion, with aggressive growth plans for 2012. In line with this strategy and to accommodate their current project workload, they have an immediate requirement for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience in the geotechnical, earth sciences or tunneling fields. 
 
You will be a qualified Engineer with extensive experience within the geotechnical field with chartered status being highly regarded.  You will have a demonstrable background in the Australian mining sector with experience in bulk earthworks and ground improvement for heavy haul rail. Reporting to the State Manager, you will have worked on a range of projects and be confident to take the responsibility for providing leadership of the geotechnical team. 
 
Your strong technical background in analysis and design will see you succeed in this role as you deliver quality technical solutions to ensure foundations are designed and constructed in an effective manner.  This client facing role will utilise your superior communication skills as you maintain and develop strong client relationships.
