Whilst field trips are part of the fun of being a botanist – it’s not always practical for people to go on 2 week field trips to the Pilbara and the likes, often required in mining focused roles.

 Sitting within this companies specialist land and infrastructure development division – means the majority of your work will be around the metro area, or developments just south/ north. Continuing with your niche skills developed in urban botany projects, or switching from mining infrastructure – either way you will be challenged by the autonomy of this role. Take charge of the developing of monitoring plans, such as level 2 flora surveys, resourcing, planning, implementation, project management, field management, data analysis, taxonomy, report preparation and client management The company philosophy promotes holistic approaches to the project process for their employees. You will need at least 4 years botany experience, especially in level 2 surveys, and any consulting experience is advantageous.
