Usibelli Coal Mine, Inc Is seeking an experienced General Foreman, Maintenance Located in Healy, Alaska This position is a member of the management team at Usibelli Coal Mine, Inc. (UCM), reporting to the Maintenance Manager. Duties will include the scheduling ,planning and supervision of repairs, rebuilds and installation of components on dozers, loaders, drills, trucks, Bucyrus Erie 1300 dragline and other mine related equipment. Oversee and develop methods for troubleshooting, diagnoses, and correcting electrical and hydraulic problems in production and support equipment. Must be able to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints and schematics. Will have developed and managed departmental budgets. Individual should have a minimum of 5 years experience in planning and management of a medium sized department. Experience/Qualifications: A Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or an experienced Journeyman in either mining or industrial maintenance, or as a Planner with a combined experience level of five years in both fields preferred. The successful candidate must have well developed computer skills, proven leadership abilities and good interpersonal skills. Successful candidate must pass a post-offer physical and drug test.
