The Outbye Services Coordinator reports directly to the Mine Manager and is accountable for:

•  safety;
• planning, coordinating and monitoring implementation of all outbye mine services, the coal clearance system and the diesel fleet;
• overseeing performance of the outbye services coal clearance systems and diesel fleet to ensure that the productivity requirements of the mine are met.

Necessary attributes:

•  previous experience managing mine services, coal clearance systems and diesel fleets is mandatory;
• extensive underground mining experience with exposure to development and longwall operations;
• strong communication and organisation skills;
• personal qualities of integrity, commitment and teamwork.

Applicants with significant underground hard rock experience managing a substantial bulk materials conveyor system, a diesel fleet and mine services are also encouraged to apply.
