Production Geologist, Underground Southern Arizona, USA

Reports to: Chief Geologist
Responsibilities:
The Production Geologist’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Grade control, including face mapping and sampling
Muck tracking
Work closely with engineering and mining operations to design and develop quality ore headings
Creation of various reports, including daily tonnage and grade reports
Development rib mapping
Support a near-mine exploration program
Collect, compile and analyze production, development, and exploration data and results
Qualifications Required:
A minimum of a BS in Geology
Minimum of three years of underground geology experience
Basic geological mapping skills
Good computing skills, including but not limited to the MS Office suite
Skills:
Exposure to various software packages like Gemcom and AutoCAD important
Strong interpersonal communication skills
