Williams Mining has recently been engaged by a globally renown  mining group who are seeking a Head of Environment for Botswana.

This opportunity offers great career growth of which the successful candidate will report into the Vice President of Environment and Social Responsibility.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful mining company who specialises in diamond production. My client is seeking strong leadership qualities and environmental experience within the mining industry.

Core to this requirement the successful Head of Environment for will have:

• Experience within the mining industry
• Environmental Management experience of working in Africa
• The ability to liaise with communities and experience within social responsibility
• A strong understanding of environmental issues, management and risks.

As Head of Environment, you will ensure that all environmental risks are identified, monitored and mitigated to minimise environmental impacts across site operations. As well as displaying strong leadership and communication skills, as you will work closely with the Health and Safety team.

This is a permanent position where relocation is required.
