Due to the current owner stepping away from their role Hays are currently recruiting for a General Manager to lead a small successful commercial electrical install and service contractor based in the Hills District.

The ideal candidate for this role must have an electrical contracting background and experience in profitably managing a business with a turnover of $15m or more.  Current electrical projects are predominantly commercial and health projects up to the value of $4m.  Financial and commercial expertise are a must have, as is the ability to manage and report on the profitability and progress of the company.

The company culture is very much a team environment and direct reports are empowered to run their own businesses with the direction of the General Manager.  These direct reports include a construction manager, project managers, estimator and administration staff. 

This is a financially secure and well established name in the industry, therefore the right person for this job must be motivated and committed to continuing this legacy.
