Mining Engineer for leading American coal mining company needed for an underground continuous miner operation.
Description:
Lead all activities involved in mine planning, with regard to both short-term and long-term planning, installation, construction, and overall analysis of mine projects
Environment support includes permit compliance and renewal
Ability to conduct feasibility studies for assigned or proposed projects including investigation of data, estimation of cost and time requirements, and reporting on alternatives and recommendations on cursory actions
Provide engineering designs for all mining infrastructure
Provide engineering advice and knowledge on specific day-to-day problems
Qualifications:
BS Mining Engineering, or related (Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering)
2+ years underground coal mining experience
CM experience a plus
Strong communication and technical skills
Proficiency with Computers and CAD software
Self starter, desire to grow within company
