Key responsibilities of this role are to:

• Liaise with Mining, Coal Preparation Plant and Maintenance Supervisors to achieve the mine operating plan
• Plan and control truck allocation to loading units in accordance with planning priorities, and manage truck assignment to optimize utilisation
• Allocate labour and ancillary equipment across the operation based on priority to maximise productivity
• Monitor targets relating to key improvement initiatives within the Mining Operations team that focus on operational loss reduction and increasing productivity of the truck and shovel fleet
• Validate data captured by the system and maintain its accuracy & integrity
• Coordinate emergency response procedures when required

 Competencies and Skill

• Understanding of mining processes and mine monitoring control systems
• Excellent communication skills both oral & written
• Supervisory experience in an open cut operation is desirable
• Modular Level 2 certification is highly regarded

Working knowledge of two or more of the following systems is preferred: Modular Mining Systems: Dispatch, Provision and MineCare products, Leica - Dragline system, Aquila Drill, MinVu reporting systems.
