Management is all about strong leadership, guidance and operational savvy; and of course the ability to strategise, evaluate and develop expansion opportunities with the limited resources available in Mining.  This role is no different, and the challenge will be for you to bring your all rounded mining capabilities across Operations, Engineering, Process and Maintenance to optimize company activities and maximize the long term viability of the Group and its many operations.

Your CV needs to read like the “ABC of Mining” and the expectation is that you will have least 15 years’ experience in mining across a wide and varied range of commodities, mining methods and skillsets.  The challenge here will be to build a solid management team ensuring production levels in both the short and long term are efficiently and effectively carried out, always to a high standard and within budgets.

The role requires the relevant qualification in Mining with the proven experience of managing a substantial operation, and an MBA or  equivalent business qualification would be a real bonus. The challenges will be many and you will be faced with the dynamics of change continually, but manage these well and the rewards will be great across remuneration, bonuses and respect.
