With constant growth and ongoing projects in the telecommunications, civil, hydraulic and structural industries they thrive by employing the best of the best. Our client is currently seeking a Civil / Hydraulic Operations Manager with ongoing experience in design.

Finding the right candidate is paramount to this consultancy! They have a number of boxes to tick and require the following:

• Degree Qualifications in Engineering
• RPEQ and CPEng
• Technical knowledge
• Networks in the EPCM sector (resources sector highly regarded)
• 7+ years post graduate experience in civil engineering in Australia, if you have overseas experience please do not apply as experience and knowledge of Australian standards are required
• Proven experience in delivering major land development projects including exposure to pavement, earthworks, water supply, trenches, erosion control, access roads, and the like.
• Good communication and time management skills
• Ability to mentor junior staff members
• Outstanding business / commercial acumen
• Enthusiasm and a love for engineering
• Problem solving abilities and initiative

Your responsibilities will include:

• Making the right decisions for the business and your team
• Monitoring budgets, progress of projects
• Be involved in the complete design process
• Review designs but also undertake designing
