FY IN – FLY OUT POSITION

Our client is a growth focused Australian Gold company owning and operating several gold operations in Australia. They are in the process of developing a Gold operation in central Queensland and require the services of an experienced Mechanical Construction Engineer.

To be considered for this position you will possess tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering with previous experience working on site within a large scale mining construction environment. You will possess experience in the installation of material handling and other mining plant equipment as well as possess Sag Mill experience. You will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical Construction works on the project ensuring that such works are carried out within Project requirements and comply with designs and specifications.

Your duties will include:

- Ensuring works are carried out within project quality and safety standards and within appropriate timeframes and budget.
- Supervision of subordinate staff and contractors.
- Project monitoring and planning
- Inspecting works, compliance and progress reporting.
- Assisting with installation works, pre-commissioning and commissioning

Position is a Fly-in  Fly-out position with a roster of 10 days on and 4 days off for QLD residing candidates or 2 weeks on and 1 week off for interstate candidates.
