As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for continuous coordination with other Engineers & Lead Engineers. You will often be required to coordinate with clients, sub consultants and other inter company offices on matters associated with the mechanical discipline. This varied role will also require you to support the sales efforts for projects for which you are proposed. Key Duties:

• In partnership with the Design Manager develop the scope and budget as needed to address the client’s design needs
• Monitor budget performance and performance of any sub consultants performing mechanical work
• Responsible for successful completion of work in the mechanical discipline for investigations, studies and designs for complex projects with multiple phases and/or contracts. (Such projects would be undertaken by multi discipline technical team possibly in multiple locations, and sometimes using subcontractors.)
• Understand and contribute to CH2M HILL’s best practices for mechanical engineering
• Maintain working relationships with Health and Safety coordinator and project controls staff
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in an engineering discipline
• 8+ years of wastewater experience in a consulting firm
• Design and Construct experience essential
