Maersk Oil Kazakhstan is currently looking for Project/Civil Engineer to work in our Projects and Engineering Department based in Aktau, Kazakhstan.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• ·   Quality and consistency of construction activities according to project scope of work
• ·   Assuring the application to project of all the relevant local norms,  company standards and international best practices on accident prevention and human protection, environmental impact reduction and energy efficiency
• ·   Observe company values at any time and in all matters
• ·   Ensure that all activities are performed in a cost-effective manner
• ·   Maintain focus on technical excellence and innovation
• ·   Support collaboration and integration across departments and locations and accelerate learning and knowledge sharing
• ·   Ensure – before decision is made – that safety, economical and commercial evaluation is carried out in order to ensure optimal dispositions
• ·   Ensure that all information, written as well as verbal, concerning the company is treated confidentially
• ·   Continue effective daily execution and optimization of activities, whilst seeking and utilizing global synergies and economies of scale
• ·   Timeliness and accuracy of installation and control information provided, including: cost control information, executed works compliance to project technical specifications, work progress certification
• ·   Monitoring installation activities and controlling that their execution is in line with project plans and highlighting any possible deviations suggesting possible solutions.
• ·   Collect information and data about daily work activities to the Construction Manager to verify that project is going on schedule and within the set time and budget limits
• ·         Provide engineering support to fabrication/construction during execution.
