Supervisor Supply

Reporting to the Superintendent – Supply, your key focus will be to ensure that supply functions are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will also ensure that safety and environmental standards are met and maintained. You will be responsible for effective leadership and management of the supply team in a hands-on capacity.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Promoting and maintain high safety performance through personal commitment and application of EHM procedures and procedures;
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and quality control processes;
• Contribute to the preparation and management of the annual operating and capital budget for the supply section;
• Support the supply and logistics team activities across site;
• Managing the resources of the supply and logistics team while delivering optimum service levels to the operation;
• Manage the warehouse functions of stocktaking; receipting and storage of stock items; and
• Assisting customers with their day to day purchasing requirements in line with company policies and procedures.

The ideal applicant should possess:

• A strong commitment to safety and best practice concepts and their application to encourage a safe work environment;
• Proven supply and/or contracts management experience in a mining or processing environment;
• Sound people skills and a personal commitment to promoting an effective team environment through coaching and role modelling;
• Sound comprehension, verbal and written communication skills; and
• Computer literacy in the use of Ellipse, Outlook, Word and Excel.

Ideally, the successful candidate will live residentially in Cloncurry. This position is also available fly-in/fly-out from Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane.
