Oil & Gas Upstream Associate Project Manager – Anchorage, AK

Our Oil & Gas Associate Upstream Project Manager position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our clients provide a safe and reliable source of energy in support of millions of people worldwide. Each day you will be part of a team working on projects in energy transportation engineering to include liquid and natural gas pipelines, pump stations, meter stations, compressor stations, and facility hardening. You will integrate the various engineering, scheduling, purchasing, construction, and start-up aspects in a variety of projects. You will support all aspects of the project life cycle (feasibility studies and routing/site selection through construction). You should be a self-motivated Oil & Gas Upstream Associate Project Manager with 0-5 years of experience.

Our Oil & Gas Upstream Associate Project Manager:

• Assembles and leads the project team. Allocates resources where appropriate to achieve the safety, time, cost, scope and quality objectives of the project
• Leads development of Total Installed Cost estimates
• Manages multi-discipline project delivery; ensures compliance with overall project objectives
• Evaluates material and construction bids
• Manages project through construction
• Complies with applicable regulations and client guidelines for design, project documentation and records
• Participates in business development activities
• Develops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitors progress to maintain schedules and budgets; identifies and documents change scope
• Interacts with discipline leads to ensure compliance with project objectives
• Manages bid presentation and opening meetings
• Manages technical support during construction
• Design, coordination, and communications related to the project

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint is required
• Excellent verbal and written communications is required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-5 years of engineering experience is preferred
• Upstream field and construction experience is a plus
• Operating Company experience is a plus
• Experience in any or all of the following: oil & gas pipelines, compressor stations, meter runs, tie ins, launcher/receivers, facility siting

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
