CoreStaff have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Plant Metallurgist to join a global mining company
8/6 FIFO roster in the Goldfields, flying from Perth.
This role is available for immediate start, due to an internal promotion.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing of plant operations
Champion ongoing development and improvement of metallurgical systems and processes
Ensure production and cost targets are met
Training and development of Plant Metallurgists
Key selection criteria for this role includes:
A degree in Metallurgy or Mineral Processing
5 ­ 10 years minerals processing experience
Recent experience in a senior role
Nickel experience is mandatory
Senior First Aid certificate
Strong leadership skills
Strong Safety focus
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
High attention to detail and a proactive approach
