Overview We are currently seeking two Laboratory Technicians to join our Processing Team. These roles are responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tasks used to assess overall processing plant efficiency in areas such as grinding and carbon management. The Position

• Ensuring the laboratory is kept in good condition, allowing for quality work and work practices.
• Undertaking inspection of the workplace to identify and correct hazards and equipment failures.
• Cleaning, calibrating and maintaining plant analytical equipment and preparing standards.
• Using advanced analytical techniques and maintaining accurate records of analytical results.
• Assisting with the training of other personnel and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures for the laboratory.
• Liaising with external laboratories including control and dispatch of samples offsite.
• Maintenance of accurate records of analytical results and reporting these to the metallurgy and processing departments.

• Post secondary training in ChemistryLaboratory techniques desirable.
• Broad experience in laboratory procedures and analysis of metallurgical samples desirable.
• Good communication skills.
• A commitment to achieving zero incidents through a strong focus on safety.
