DESCRIPTION:
Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
Present and explain proposal, reports, and findings to clients. Prepare detailed technical deliverables list, project schedule and reporting, man power planning, and cost estimates.
Meet Health, Safety, Security, and Environment goals set by company and the client. Perform all managerial activities pertaining to the Instrumentation and Controls project team.
Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
Report on a periodic basis the progress, any required change orders, and deviations to the client. Consult with other departments on equipment designs, problems, and questions.
Assist with product-related problems or to obtain application data for field sites.
In connection with the above duties, utilize standards promulgated by the International Society of Automation, National Electric Code, International Electrotechnical Commission, American Petroleum Institute, National Fire Protection Association, and other related bodies; knowledge of instrumentation and controls for the oil and gas processing industries and associated, process technologies, procedures and applications; SPI Intools database software; 3-D modeling software; AutoCAD or other CAD and database systems related to instrumentation engineering; and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of experience in job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing standards promulgated by the International Society of Automation, National Electric Code, International Electrotechnical Commission, American Petroleum Institute, National Fire Protection Association, and other related bodies; utilizing knowledge of instrumentation and controls for the oil and gas processing industries and associated, process technologies, procedures and applications; utilizing SPI Intools database software; using 3-D modeling software; using AutoCAD or other CAD and database systems related to instrumentation engineering; and utilize Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
In lieu of Masters degree, employer will accept Bachelors degree and 5 years progressive work experience.
