The operations process 2 million tonnes of refractory and free milling ore per annum from open pit projects and three underground mines. Barrick Kanowna is one of the leading employers in the Goldfields and has a large exploration lease holding in the region.
  Position overview: You will be responsible for maintaining the underground mobile equipment at our Kanowna operations.    Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out equipment repairs, fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
• Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections
• Contribute to the effective management of maintenance functions by adhering to maintenance planning procedures
• Willingly participate in training programs to improve trade skills base

Experience and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years post trade experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment
• Experience in the maintenance of underground equipment such as Caterpillar Elphinstone, Atlas Copco and Tamrock. 

This is residential role based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
