You will be joining one of Victoria's leading water authorities which is currently experiencing rapid expansion in the area that they service.  Working across potable, sewerage, trade and recycled water makes them vital to everyday life.

As Senior Hydraulic Modeller, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and use of the hydraulic models of a water supply system comprising of over 4500 km of water mains.  You will provide accurate and timely advice and develop appropriate actions to put the assets in a hydraulically efficient and compliant condition.

Key responsibilities

• Maintenance of existing hydraulic models
• Calibration of models
• Quality assurance on pressure and flow monitoring data
• Recommendation for preventative maintenance or asset inspection
• Provide capacity and flow advice
• Training and mentoring

Skills and Experience

• Degree qualified
• Experience in water and wastewater industry
• Experience in the modelling of clean water networks
• Good understanding and working knowledge of modelling software e.g. InfoWorks, MapInfo
• Design or Asset management in water
