Position Summary:

Working under the supervision of the Wells Support Foreman, the Wells Support GMT Lead provides day-to-day task and performance direction to the work crew

The position is located on the North Slope and requires a rotational work schedule (2 weeks on and 2 weeks off). Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided, however transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Room and meals provided while in Prudhoe Bay

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Routinely perform safety and productivity observations as well as shop, field and vehicle inspections
  • Attend various technical, developmental and safety training
  • Demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate support for the company's HSE management system
  • Serve as on-site single point of contact for work crew
  • Supervise and/or direct other craftsmen
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to crew members
  • Ensure all team members understand and follow procedures. Assess skill level of team members; assist in skill development
  • Examine work and materials for compliance with specifications.
  • Accountable for safe work practices
  • May be responsible for recording and reporting daily labor hours to admin assistant


Knowledge, Skills, Ability: 

  • Ability to operate vehicles such as tractor/trailer combination, loader, forklift, book truck, man-lift
  • Able to identify flanges
  • Knowledge bolt-up components and procedures
  • Knowledge of hard line components and uses
  • Knowledge of hydro testing
  • Knowledge of rigging procedures
  • Must be a self-starter; able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and follow work directions
  • Able to effectively communicate with fellow workers and alternate
  • Capable of learning various CH2MHILL, and BP safety and operational procedures and demonstrating required competencies

Position Summary:

The Instrument Technician supports the Electrical and Instrumentation Team by installing, maintaining, calibrating and adjusting instrumentation and instrument loop components, such as pipe, fittings, tubing, valves and instruments.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Calibrates, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs various devices and control loops (pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic analog and digital devices involving the pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic analog and temperature and flow of devices fluids found within the petroleum industry)
  • Troubleshoots and maintains relay logic systems, PLCs, turbine controls, compressor surge flow totalizing loops, air drying systems, local and remote annunciators, gas/oil fired heaters and re-boilers, and valves of varying designs and manufacturers
  • Works with tubing and piping fittings from vacuum to high pressures to exceed 5,000 psi, and electrical circuits with potentials up to 50 volts
  • Uses various types of test equipment
  • Reads, uses and updates electrical, electronic, piping and instrument drawings and schematics
  • Provides written and oral documentation of job status
  • Routinely performs safety and productivity observations; shop, field and vehicle inspections; and is required to attend various components of technical, developmental and safety training
  • Must demonstrate support for the company's environmental management system

  • High school/GED required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by CH2MHILL's auto required
  • Alaska State Fire Marshall's Permit (AKFM) to work on fire alarm systems or ability to obtain within 6 monthsrequired

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) year working with remote North Slope operations with demonstrated knowledge of facilities, safety processes, and maintenance procedures preferred

You should be a self-motivated professional with a proven and successful 3-15 year track record in Geotechnical Engineering as well as posses a BS in Civil Engineering and a MS with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering. Your experience with deep foundation construction, specifically drilled shaft and pile installation; with design assignments in pipe jacking and tunneling, earth retaining structures, seismic design; and with computer programs, including FB-Multipier, PLAXIS and FLAC will contribute to your success. You should have experience with large urban design and construction projects, a PE, and the desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each geotechnical engineering job.


Our Geotechnical Engineers:

  • Participate in field assignments that will include observation of explorations (soil and rock borings, test pits, CPT probes, geophysical testing) and geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring; and inspection of earth retaining structures, deep foundations (drilled shafts, piles), tunnels, foundation subgrade, and shallow foundations
  • Design shallow and deep foundations, earth retaining structures, ground improvement, embankment and cut slopes
  • Perform earthquake hazard evaluations, including site-specific site response analysis
  • Are responsible for analysis of laboratory testing results and preparation of technical reports, data reports and baseline reports
  • Have experience with design assignments and computer programs including SETTLE3D, GRLWEAP, FB-MULTIPIER, LPILE, SLIDE or SLOPE, SHAFT, DRIVEN, MATHCAD
  • Prepare design drawings and specifications
  • Construction inspection and troubleshooting during construction

  • Perform oversight and witnessing of factory testing of Train Control subsystems prior to approval for shipment; log discrepancies and prepare reports for status of system testing.
  • Monitor field implementation and testing activities for wayside, carborne and Supervisory train control systems for a range of rail vehicles and their infrastructure.
  • Support System integration of interoperable train control subsystems from different suppliers for compatibility and functional performance.
  • Assess performance and specification compliance for Automated Train Control systems.

Qualified candidates will have a thorough familiarity with Communications Based Train Control Systems from key suppliers in the market in order to perform detailed design reviews of product and system submittals. You will also have a BS degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering), 4+ years of experience with the design of Automated Train Control Systems and 10+ years of design/application/oversight experience in the transit industry on CBTC/ large ATC projects in Europe or North America.

Basic Qualifications

A thorough familiarity with Communications Based Train Control Systems from key suppliers in the market such as Siemens, Thales, Alstom in order to perform detailed design reviews of product and system submittals

  • 4+ years of experience with the design of Automated Train Control Systems

Installs, maintains and repairs electrical systems, equipment, wiring and controls in a petrochemical environment

The position is located on the North Slope and requires a rotational work schedule. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided; however transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Room and meals provided while in Prudhoe Bay.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation and construction of industrial electrical equipment and systems found in an industrial or commercial environment through the proper use of standard wire, conduit, fittings and hardware commonly found in industrial plants
  • Reads and understands conduit drawings, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
  • Responsible for use and care of the tools and equipment commonly employed in industrial construction such as hydraulic/electric benders, knockout punch sets, cable puller, meggers, hi-pot equipment, volt meters, multi-testers and ammeters
  • Able to set and coordinate overcurrent protective devices, size feeder circuits and work on systems up to and including 13.8 kV
  • Must be able to follow all company, client, safety and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines as they relate to this position and the work duties being performed
  • Bend, cut, thread and install conduit
  • Install and terminate wiring
  • Check out and troubleshoot simple electric circuits and electrical devices and machinery
  • Accountable for testing, troubleshooting, setting and calibrating power distribution systems, while working with protective relaying and motor control circuits

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

  • Possesses current knowledge of Journeyman Electrician, have physical fitness card and an understanding of organizational practices.
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits including the operation and function of typical electrical devices and machinery such as solenoids, relays, motors, transformers, switches, motor control centers, generators, batteries and lighting systems
  • Possess an excellent knowledge of the National Electric Code
  • Has adequate written and oral communications applicable to standards set by organization

Position Summary:

Prepares surfaces and applies protective coatings such as paints to pipes, valves, structures and vessels as required in maintenance of oilfield facilities. May be tasked to perform various manual, unskilled, and/or skilled tasks as required in support of Maintenance Operations. 

The position is project based and located on the North Slope. Relocation assistance to Alaska is provided and Room and meals provided while in Prudhoe Bay.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Responsible for the application of paint and coatings (including roof coatings) necessary to properly maintain facilities
  • Responsible for blasting and coating of the internal/external parts of various vessels and tanks to client specifications
  • Performs abrasive blasting of surface areas to be coated.
  • Pass on site skills test to demonstrate core proficiencies
  • Cleanup of tools, equipment and work areas
  • May perform heavy labor such as shoveling, compacting and backfilling excavations, or hauling and stacking pipe skids in support of other maintenance activities
  • May assist with the installation of piping spools/valve installations and removal, rigging, and blinding
  • Erect scaffolding working with qualified scaffold builder
  • May be required to drive, crew cab pickups, flatbed pickup or box van


Knowledge, Skills, Ability: 

  • Working knowledge of paints, preparation, special coatings
  • Ability to apply coating to spec requirement with airless sprayer
  • Ability to maintain and disassemble blasting/coating equipment
  • Capable of working in confined space
  • Knowledge of SSPC regulations
  • Basic knowledge of blasting/coating equipment
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and be capable of performing assigned tasks with limited general technical guidance
  • Depending on assignment, may be required to prepare and process various types of documentation including permits and SETA card completion to identify task hazards

Additional Information:

This position has the flexibility to be located in a variety of CH2M HILL offices, working as part of our nationally-coordinated electric transmission line permitting service area CH2M HILL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g., H-1B visa, etc) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Science, or Engineering
  • 10 years of experience in the energy-related siting and licensing field in the United States, including prior experience in managing tasks or projects for electric transmission line permitting
  • Demonstrated project management skills and technical background and ability for transmission line permitting projects
  • Understanding of, and experience with, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and/or state / local permitting requirements for transmission lines

  • producing high quality, accurate designs, to client's contractual requirements and company standards.
  • participating in the project team contributing to two way communications with staff in the team.
  • assisting in the development of staff skills, providing appropriate mentoring and support as required.

Key requirements

The ideal candidate should possess an appropriate technical qualification or equivalent and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge.

  • This role will be in charge of all quality assurance functions in the GEC office as well as construction sites of the General Contractors for the metro railway, including civil works and systems and lead the team of QC professionals for the project
  • Responsible for establishing and set up of the quality management systems and their monitoring procedures for the project implementation
  • Training program all concerned staff in the project to follow the quality management systems
  • Responsible for the review of QA/QC plans prepared by different contractors engaged by the client for construction of the metro and accord approval to the same.
  • Manage the QA/QC process for the whole project and where necessary provide specialist advice to the Safety Engineers on safety management systems and safety cases.
  • Carry out quality assurance audits within the project
  • Arrange the ISA 9001 certification for the General Consultants, if required, for the duration of the GC assignment.
  • Develop the procedures to be followed by site quality control engineers and review the test reports compiled and submitted by them.
  • Monitor critical tests and advise with respect to measures required to improve upon the quality. Wherever considered necessary recommend additional quality tests.
  • Prepare the project quality manual, procedure for control of documents, records, drawings and data in electronic media
  • Prepare formats for inspection certificates, test reports and check lists to be used by GEC staff during quality control inspections
  • Prepare standard formats and numbering systems for documents used in the project, i.e. reports, transmittals, position papers, record of meetings, and internal correspondence
  • Agree or finalize the drawing numbering system with others on the project using approved drafting and CAD standards

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years in Railways with Metros and MRTs/LRTs being a prime consideration
  • Experience in developing, implementing and operating rail systems with a strong QA/QC knowledge base
    Additional experience in Construction or Construction
  • Management on large rail projects with proven performance and knowledge of the Quality processes

  • Carry out quality assurance audits within the project
  • Arrange the ISA 9001 certification for the General Consultants, if required, for the duration of the GC assignment.
  • Develop the procedures to be followed by site quality control engineers and review the test reports compiled and submitted by them.
  • Monitor critical tests and advise with respect to measures required to improve upon the quality. Wherever considered necessary recommend additional quality tests.
  • Prepare the project quality manual, procedure for control of documents, records, drawings and data in electronic media
  • Prepare formats for inspection certificates, test reports and check lists to be used by GEC staff during quality control inspections
  • Prepare standard formats and numbering systems for documents used in the project, i.e. reports, transmittals, position papers, record of meetings, and internal correspondence
  • Agree or finalize the drawing numbering system with others on the project using approved drafting and CAD standards

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years in Railways with Metros and MRTs/LRTs being a prime consideration
  • Experience in developing, implementing and operating rail systems with a strong QA/QC knowledge base
    Additional experience in Construction or Construction
  • Management on large rail projects with proven performance and knowledge of the Quality processes
  • Direct experience leading an ISO9001:2008 or other similar internationally recognized quality system certification effort is a plus

Job Purpose: 

The Arriyadh Development Authority Public Transit Program (PTP) is a historic commitment by the leadership of Saudi Arabia to address the transportation needs of the city of Riyadh. As Saudi Arabia's largest metropolis grows to 8.3 million by 2030, this program and related infrastructure will be enablers to the future economic development of the region and the related job creation critical to the people in the region.

The Saudi Arabian Government is constructing the world's largest transit program in Riyadh to address this growth. This program includes 181 km of METRO light rail—surface level, elevated and underground (tunnels); 94 km of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) supplemented by circular routes and feeder buses; Transit Oriented Development; regulatory and fiscal changes to reduce traffic congestion; and regulatory measures governing the PTP itself.

CH2M HILL is the Program Manager Consultant working with the Arriyadh Development Authority to undertake program management tasks for the Riyadh PTP. The Procurement Manager is assigned to the Contract Management Team to provide advice and assist in the ongoing procurement processes for operations and services contracts not yet awarded. The Procurement Manager will advise ADA PMO as required on major sub-contract procurement procedures undertaken by the Design Build Contractors. The Procurement Manager will assist in the development of appropriatet documentation throughout the procurement process as well as render evaluation as appropriate.
The Procurement Manager will have thorough knowledge and understanding of procurement concepts, principles and practices, as applied in the engineering and construction industry; project delivery processes; and relationship expectations with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and the project team and will understand how the procurement functions integrate with and impact other functions in the project delivery process.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Provide direction and expertise to procurement related activities for the programme in support of the planning and execution of operational requirements and projects.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out and documentation is reviewed and complies with the requirements of the Government Tenders and Procurement Law
  • Comment, review, amend and draft documentation as required prior to tender process and during clarification period prior to receipt of tenders
  • Assist the Contracts Management Team in document reviews for contractual and legal accuracy and appropriateness
  • Comply with established business ethics and conduct principles related to procurement.

  • Leads necessary internal communications through consultant PMO team

Job Requirements/Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Management or other applicable field, and training in procurement. Experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 15 years of Procurement experience, with 7 years in the engineering and construction industry.
  • Understands type and nature of the operational and project work undertaken in the programme.
  • Certification from the Institute for Supply Management or National Contract Management Association (or other international equivalent) is desirable.
  • Understands the project delivery processes (i.e., program management, detailed engineering deliverable documents, construction management needs, construction management of multiple subcontractors or general contractors in design-build or design-bid-build) and their relationship to Enterprise Procurement procedures.
  • Is able to effectively author contractual commitment documents, as well as internal and external communications, proposals and reports.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project, and construction management.
  • Significant experience in managing procurement operations on major projects.
  • Experience managing transportation or transit programs preferred.
  • Middle East experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Primavera Contract Manager and other document controls software preferred.
  • Strong communication skills including fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong communications skills including fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) preferred.

  • Ensures that the project controls team members effectively identify, manage and report project risks.

  • Previous experience as the Planning Manager for complex projects within the last 3 years, ideally construction supervision projects in the Middle East region.
  • Minimum Degree qualified and 15 years experience in planning / project controls.
  • Fully understand the aspects of project controls of complex highways projects and the management interrelationship between the associated design disciplines.
  • Experienced with using Primavera P6 and CESMM 3 or 4 method of measurement.
  • Have experience of managing projects with KPI as measures against performance and payment.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with project controls teams and motivate them to meet the project objectives.
  • Good leadership skills, and be able to work in a multi-cultural and multi-discipline team.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, and good presentation skills in English. Written and spoken Arabic skills are beneficial but not essential.

This position will require experience as a mid level Inspector on water/wastewater projects, a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required as well as the desire to grow both professionally and personally.

Our Construction Inspectors:

  • Coordinate with Contractor's field supervisors
  • Inspect Construction for conformance with the contract documents
  • Record Construction activities in a daily diary
  • Ensure the project is in conformance with the plans and specifications
  • Observe conformance to the Storm Water Management plan
  • Perform quality assurance inspection of work activities
  • Witness testing, as required, for quality assurance
  • Coordinate special inspections, shutdowns, tie-ins and special assemblies
  • Are responsible for contractor adherence to the General Conditions
  • Are responsible for contractor adherence to the Technical Specifications
  • Review Contractor's inspection logs
  • Determine weather days with the Contractor
  • Assist with project close-out and document archiving
  • Review pre-construction submittals

-Организует  приемку  материалов,   конструкций,   изделий,   их
складирование, учет и отчетность.
-Обеспечивает рациональное использование  на  участке  (объекте)
строительных машин,    механизмов,    транспортных   средств,   экономное
расходование материалов.
-Производит расстановку бригад и не входящих в их состав звеньев
и отдельных работников  на  участке,  устанавливает  их  производственные
задания, осуществляет производственный инструктаж.
-Выдает наряды,  принимает законченные работы, выписывает наряды
на выполненные  работы;  оформляет  документы  по учету рабочего времени,
выработки, простоев.
-Организует     оперативный    учет    ежедневного    выполнения
производственных заданий   и   поступления    строительных    материалов,
конструкций, изделий.
-Обеспечивает условия  для  освоения  и  выполнения  работниками
установленных норм выработки.
-Вносит на рассмотрение руководителя предложения по  присвоению
разрядов работникам,        комплектованию        количественного       и
профессионально-квалификационного состава бригад.
-Обеспечивает     бригады     и    работников    инструментами,
приспособлениями, средствами малой механизации, транспортом, спецодеждой,
защитными средствами.
-Участвует в работе комиссии по аттестации рабочих мест.
-Проводит  инструктаж  по  соблюдению  техники безопасности при
производстве работ.
-Обеспечивает ведение журнала учета инструктажа работников.
-Обеспечивает   применение   в   соответствии   с   назначением
технологической оснастки   (лесов,  подмостей,  защитных  приспособлений,
креплений стенок котлованов и траншей,  подкосов,  кондукторов  и  других
устройств), строительных  машин,  энергетических установок,  транспортных
средств и средств защиты работающих.
-Контролирует  обеспечение  рабочих  мест знаками безопасности,
предупредительными надписями и плакатами.
-Не    допускает    присутствия    на    рабочих    местах,   в
санитарно-бытовых помещениях и на территории участка посторонних лиц.
-Обеспечивает соблюдение чистоты и порядка на рабочих местах, в
проходах и на подъездных  путях,  надлежащее  содержание  и  эксплуатацию
подкрановых путей.
-Проверяет состояние техники безопасности и  принимает  меры  к
устранению выявленных недостатков.
-Участвует  в  работе  комиссии  по  расследованию   несчастных
случаев на производстве и нарушений правил техники безопасности.
-Контролирует  соблюдение  работниками  инструкций  по   охране
труда, производственной и трудовой дисциплины.

International oil & gas operator has ASAP need in their Houston
office for the Project Engineer Leader to provide overall engineering expertise
and leadership for all stages of design/construction/fabrication up to and
including conceptual frontend and detail design engineering, fabrication,
installation, hook-up and commissioning (HUC) for offshore shallow water
production. This can be either a long term contract role or a direct hire role
depending on the applicant's preference. Please read carefully the following
detailed job description:
Purpose of the Role
· To support the Project
Manager, working with the Project Management Team, to deliver international
upstream capital projects within safety, quality, cost, and schedule
objectives.
· To provide overall engineering expertise and leadership of
projects; coordinate transition through stage gate process including: Assess,
Select, Define, Execute, and handover to Operations; coordinate preparation of
stage gate deliverables.
· To provide engineering expertise and support for
any and all stages of design/construction/fabrication up to and including:
Conceptual/Front End/Detail Design engineering, Fabrication, Installation &
Hook-up & Commissioning (HUC).
· To ensure the projects are completed in
accordance with all contractual requirements and in keeping with the Company’s
ethical standards and HSSE policies and procedures.
Objectives
·
Supervising and reviewing Contractors documentation during the execution of
design, procurement and fabrication/construction activities, ensuring the
quality of the work is in accordance to the contract requirements.
· Manage
inspections, factory acceptance tests, and site acceptance tests of procured and
fabricated equipment.
· Manage, or assist with the management of, the efforts
of Company project personnel and the overall project team.
· Provide the
necessary level of engineering supervision at Company’s offices and at
Contractor’s sites.
· As required, ensure that project facilities are
supplied within the Approved for Expenditure (AFE) estimate and in accordance
with the Company requirements.
· Ensure the development of a Project
Execution Plan that integrates all elements of the engineering, procurement and
construction, fabrication, installation and HUC.
· Ensure that all project
interfaces are properly coordinated.
· Ensure that all Project Control
Systems are in place and functioning in accordance with the company’s Asset
Development System (ADS) requirements.
Other
· Understand, implement and
comply with the Company HSSE Policy, with the ultimate goal to eliminate all
injuries, occupational illnesses, unsafe practices and environmental
incidents.
Functional Skills:
Must be able to plan, organize and direct a
team of Company and Contractor personnel to safety engineer major capital
projects to ensure delivery of high quality facilities to the Company’s business
unit within cost and schedule requirements.
Must ensure a smooth and
effective transfer of data/information within Company’s business units; from
Contractor to Company; and between Contractors, as applicable.
Must provide
technical management expertise and support the Company’s project execution
requirements for Asset development and facility upgrade opportunities.
Must
lead the identification, creation, and/or adoption of engineering standards on a
project, with appropriate consideration of industry recognized codes, standards,
rules and regulations.
Experience:
· BS Degree qualified in an
Engineering discipline.
· Membership in a recognized professional institution
or registration as a Professional Engineer is a plus.
· Must have experience
in execution of complex multi discipline projects.
· Minimum of fifteen
(10-15) years overall experience with at least five (5) years involvement in
offshore major capital projects in the oil and gas industryprimarily with an
IOC/OpCo but will consider EPC/Engineering experience.
· Previous experience
with an engineering firm is desired, operating company is a plus.
· Previous
working experience on similar Company projects would be an advantage.
·
Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills are
required.
· International experience desireable - West Africa a plus, but not
required.
